Academic Engagements

I have never taken engagement pictures in a library before. It was a first for me....especially for engagements! This couple said they were very academic minded and wanted that to show in their pictures. After spending an hour with this couple and the bride-to-be's mother, I found out that we both are related to the same people. She is the sister to my brother in-law. We have the same niece and nephew but never had met before. It's funny how things work out some time.

A few engagements

LOVE THE HARLEY! I love when couples have their own things to add to pictures to show their personalities. I think it makes the pictures more special for them. I'm sure they won't always have a Harley (we had to get rid of the cool car once kids came along), but they will always have these pictures to show how much fun they had when they dated.

Taylon and Ashley

I think that Ashley has the prettiest smile I have ever seen. It was so easy to take pictures of these two. I love taking engagement pictures. It is so much fun to see people right before they get married. My favorite thing about these pictures is how confident Ashley is. I think she is the first woman I have ever taken pictures of that didn't have a single edit that she wanted done on herself. That may also be because there isn't a single thing to be edited. Usually when I think that, the woman still finds a list a mile long they want me to fix. I think more people need to be like Ashley!

Tyler and Teasha
